Kazakhstan has exported about 7.6 billion tons of grain since early 2016, reads a report issued by the country's Agriculture Ministry. Grain exports totaled 4.9mn tons, while flour exports stood at 1.8mn tons, the ministry said. This year's target for grain exports has been met at 92.5% so far. Grain is a top agricultural export item for Kazakhstan, which exports grain mainly to neighboring Central Asia states, Iran, Turkey, China and the Caucasus.
